Less than one year after her divorce was finalized from Sean Covel, Alexa Vega is officially off the market again — and she has her ex’s blessing! The 25-year-old Spy Kids actress is engaged to 24-year-old Big Time Rush singer Carlos Pena, Jr., Vega’s rep confirms to Just Jared.

Vega and Pena began dating late last year. The Machete Kills actress filed for divorce from film producer Covel, 37, in July 2012 after two years of marriage. The divorce was finalized in December 2012.

On Thursday, Sept. 12, Vega retweeted a message Covel wrote congratulating his ex-wife on her engagement. “Deepest congratulations to @alexavega and @TheCarlosPena!” he wrote, jokingly adding, “May your days be happy, lives be long, and your children, somehow, be tall.”

No further information on Vega and Pena’s engagement was released, but Pena posted a picture of his fiancee on Instagram Wednesday, Sept. 11, showing off her new diamond engagement ring. Leaning on the edge of a car and sipping a beverage in the photo, Vega gives a glimpse her huge sparkler.

“My angel!!!” the Nickelodeon star captioned the shot. “@vegaalexa awesome road trip so far!! Now we just need to get back . . .”

Vega also posted a shirtless modeling photo of Pena on her Instagram that same day, and captioned the sexy shot, “Hello fiance . . . “
