Christopher Reeve's Look-Alike Son Will Joins ESPN's SportsCenter

A Clark Kent for the modern age! Will Reeve, the look-alike youngest son of late Superman star Christopher Reeve, just scored his dream job as a member of ESPN’s SportsCenter team, The Wrap reported on Tuesday, Jan. 27.

Reeve, 22, is one of three new talents — along with comedian Reese Waters and social media savant Sarina Morales — who’ve been tapped for the program. The Wrap notes that they’ll be doing “special reports” for the network and tapping into “the digital landscape to reach the millennial generation.”

According to his mini bio on The Wrap, Reeve — who looks remarkably like his handsome father — started his broadcasting career with internships at ABC and Good Morning America. Later, after graduating from Middlebury College, he earned a few writing and reporting gigs for ESPN, which he describes as “like a member of the family because it was always on.”

“My dad and I had a huge bond and shared a love of sports,” he told The Wrap of his late father, who died in 2004 at age 52, nine years after he was paralyzed in a horse-riding accident. (The actor’s wife, Dana Reeve, died two years later in 2006 of lung cancer.)

“I hope they would be proud and say, ‘Great job,’ no matter what,” Reeve added. “Then my dad would probably tell me to straighten my tie.”
