Denise Richards' dad has found love again! Nearly six years after Irv Richards lost his wife Joni to cancer, the retired telephone engineer is engaged, Denise revealed during a July 1 appearance on E!'s Chelsea Lately.

Irv — who often appeared on his daughter's now-defunct reality show, Denise Richards: It's Complicated — has not revealed his new bride's identity. Earlier this year, the widower appeared on Bravo's Millionaire Matchmaker, where he told Patti Stanger he was hoping to meet someone "older than" Denise, 42. "I'm not looking for eye candy," Irv explained. "I'm looking for real relationship."

During Denise's Chelsea Lately interview, she said that Irv met his future wife online. "He did one of those dating sites," she explained. "He's getting married. I think he could have maybe waited a little longer, but whatever."

The Twisted actress added that her father's engagement "happened very quickly, but that's okay." When host Chelsea Handler asked Denise if she'll be involved in the wedding, the single mother of three replied, "I doubt it. I don't even know when it is! They're probably going to Vegas or something."

Handler later suggested that Denise go on a blind date with one of her single pals. The once-wed star agreed to give it a try. "Sure," she replied. "I have a U-Haul of baggage, though!"
