Emma Stone rose to prominence after a series of successful comedy films, including Superbad (2007), Zombieland (2009), Easy A (2010) and Crazy, Stupid, Love (2011). Stone proved her versatility as an actress with leading roles in The Help (2011), The Amazing Spider-Man (2012), Birdman (2014), La La Land (2016), The Favourite (2018), Cruella (2021) and Poor Things (2023).
The actress also briefly starred as Sally Bowles in a Broadway revival of Cabaret from 2014 to 2015. For her role in La La Land, Stone earned the Oscar for Best Actress in 2017. She also holds a BAFTA Award, three Golden Globe Awards and three Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Stone dated Andrew Garfield for four years before moving on with writer Dave McCary, whom she married in 2020. That same year, Stone and McCary founded the production company Fruit Tree. The pair welcomed their first child together, daughter Louise, in 2021.
