“Gamps,” of course, is former President George H.W. Bush. “We are proud to name [Poppy] after a man we so adore,” Henry told the Today show on Friday. (Jenna is a Today correspondent.)
According to Today, the newest addition to the Bush brood weighed in at 7 pounds, 9 ounces, and measured 20.5 inches in length. She joins big sister Margaret Laura, 2, who is named after Jenna and Henry’s mothers, Margaret Hager and Laura Bush.
The former First Daughter and her longtime love tied the knot in May 2008. They announced they were expecting their second child back in April.
