Life's sweet for Kelly Ripa! The Live! with Kelly and Michael host's 44th birthday was on Thursday, Oct. 2, and it included cake, plenty of love from her husband Mark Consuelos and her celebrity pals, plus an adorable #TBT.

The Live! show's official Instagram account shared an old photo of Ripa from when she was a little girl. "#HappyBirthday @KellyRipa!!" the caption read alongside the pic of the little blonde Ripa with pigtails, bangs, and chubby cheeks.

Her husband, 43, posted the same picture via Twitter and wished his wife a "Happy birthday boo!" Ripa told her audience that her husband was taking her to the Carlyle Hotel in NYC later in the evening to see Rita Wilson perform.

Ripa also received the royal birthday girl treatment on her talk show Thursday, when producers surprised her with a massive TastyKake birthday cake (her childhood favorite).

Joining Ripa on her special day was best friend Jessica Seinfeld, who posted a picture from the birthday girl's dressing room. "I feel like I should take these Veniero's cannolis back home with me cuz she has way too many presents," Seinfeld wrote alongside a pic of the room packed with gifts and flowers. "Wouldn't it be a shame and an egregious waste for them to get lost in the birthday madness over here?"

Other celebrity pals to wish Ripa a happy 44th included Andy Cohen and Sarah Michelle Gellar. (Gellar and Ripa both starred on soap opera All My Children in the '90s.)
