Kim Kardashian Copies Kate Hudson's Bride Wars' Wedding Dress

Kim copied Kate's wedding dress?! No, not that Kate!

For her Saturday wedding to Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian donned a wedding gown strikingly similar to the one worn by bridezilla Kate Hudson in the 2009 flick Bride Wars.

"I had many different styles to choose from at Vera Wang, the movie's costume designer Karen Patch told Brides magazine. "The idea for [Kate's] dress was that she was the iconic bride—the bride on the top of the wedding cake. She was the bride who could have anything she wanted."

Sounds just like the reality star, who also walked down the aisle in a custom Vera Wang creation, which like Hudson's dress, featured a strapless neckline, fitted bodice and layers and layers of tulle.

"Vera has been a close family friend for a long time and we had talked about this moment for years," Kardashian, 30, wrote on her blog. "So when it came to picking my wedding dress designer, she was the first person I thought of. No one designs gowns the way she does!"

For the reception, Kim changed into not one, but two ivory dresses. According to E! Online, her second dress was another Vera Wang creation: an ivory mermaid gown with hand-piece Chantilly lace applique on the bodice and a skirt with hand-cut organza petals intermixed with Chantilly lace motifs and organza sprig embroidery.
