Things didn’t go quite as planned at Kim Kardashian’s Tuesday, May 5, NYC book signing. The Selfish author, 34, was signing copies of her new selfie-filled book when a group of anti-fur activists confronted her with posters and chants. 

“I just want to say, you’re the most disgusting human being on this planet. Shame on you for supporting the fur industry!” one man yelled. 

He was quickly joined by a series of chanting, angry activists, holding up posters that read, “Your fur had a face.”

As another man came up to have his book signed, he asked, “Can you make it out to all the animals that have been tortured and killed for you to wear a fur?”

Others shouted, “Murderer!” Kardashian, clad in a long-sleeved Dior lace turtleneck and a high-waisted pencil skirt with Celine sandals, remained calm, smiling and looking away from the screaming masses as security guards escorted the protestors out. The incident was filmed and posted on YouTube.
