Lifetime's Full House Movie: Fake Bob Saget Wants Strippers on Set

May 2024 · 1 minute read

Life did not imitate art on the Full House set. As any fan of the ’90s sitcom knows, Bob Saget, whose alter ego was squeaky-clean dad Danny Tanner, has a less-than-family-friendly sense of humor.

That dirty mind comes into play in the very first look at Lifetime’s Unauthorized Full House Story, a fictionalized movie depicting all the behind-the-scenes drama from the hit show, when TV Saget (Garrett Brawith) cracks a joke to the actress playing his adolescent daughter Stephanie (Dakota Guppy in the role originated by Jodie Sweetin).

“I say we hire a bunch of strippers and install a pole right here,” he suggests. As the actress looks perplexed, faux Saget quips, “Hopefully a career path you will never have to follow.”

Check out the first clip from the movie above. The Unauthorized Full House Story premieres Saturday, Aug. 22, at 8 p.m. ET on Lifetime.
