Lindsay Arnold was born and raised in Provo, Utah, and began dancing at age 4. She went on to win in both the United States Open Youth Championships and the United States Open Junior Latin Championships.
When she was 18, the Utah native auditioned for the ninth season of So You Think You Can Dance, which aired in May 2012. She made it to the top eight dancers, but was eliminated in August 2012. However, after the season aired, Arnold performed in the 30-city tour. The reality TV star became a professional dancer on season 16 of Dancing With the Stars in March 2013. Arnold won season 25 with actor Jordan Fisher in November 2017, setting the record for most perfect scores with a total of 9. After 10 seasons, she announced in August 2022 that she wasn’t returning for season 31.
Apart from dancing, Arnold also has a YouTube channel with her sisters Jensen, Brynley and Rylee called The Arnold Sisters and leads her own online workout program, The Movement Club.
The dancer married her high school sweetheart, Sam Cusick, in 2015. Arnold gave birth to her first daughter, Sage, in November 2020. She announced in October 2022 that she and Cusick were expecting their second child in May 2023.
