Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen Flaunt Bathing-Suit Bodies in France

May 2024 · 2 minute read

Who says summer is over? Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen looked more carefree than ever as they took a dip in the pool at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on Sunday, September 25, in Antibes, France.

The 30-year-old twins flaunted their svelte frames in black bathing suits during their day of fun in the sun. While Ashley rocked a sexy one-piece, Mary-Kate showed off a bit more skin in a teeny-tiny bikini, accessorized by an array of boldly colored bangles and necklaces. The famous sisters were joined by Mary-Kate’s husband, Olivier Sarkozy, who couldn’t help but swim a few laps himself.

This is the second time in recent months that the former child stars have been spotted looking impossibly cool and relaxed. Back in August, the actresses-turned-fashionistas defined chic when they took a breather outside their New York City business offices.

Though they normally opt for all-black attire, Mary-Kate and Ashley surprised fans by incorporating white into their ensembles. While sipping iced coffee and puffing on cigarettes, the girls gave off major DGAF vibes — an attitude they’ve seemed to have held onto well past summer’s end.

Whether they’re enjoying some R&R or simply taking a break during a busy workday, the Row designers always keep style on the forefront of their minds.

Last year, they opened up to InStyle about their similar approaches to fashion. “There’s something nice about knowing you are the only person in the world who has [a vintage piece of clothing],” Mary-Kate explained. “It’s sort of like buying art. For everything that we call modern today, think about pieces made in the ’20s and how modern they looked then and now.”

Ashley, who is reportedly dating artist George Condo, agreed that a combination of old and new trends can make any outfit pop. “Quality and scarcity,” she told the fashion mag. “You look at these pieces and you have an emotional reaction, not just because they are pretty objects, but because they look and feel different from what is possible to do currently.”
