Congratulations to the grooms! Kyle XY actor Matt Dallas and his singer-songwriter boyfriend of six years, Blue Hamilton, have finally made it official. Dallas, 32, confirmed in an Instagram post on Saturday, July 5, that he and Hamilton, 35, had tied the knot.

“Introducing Mr. and Mr. Dallas,” the actor captioned a photo of him and his new husband proudly holding their marriage certificate after their city hall ceremony.

Later, both Dallas and Hamilton took to their social media accounts with words of appreciation to fans and friends who sent well-wishes. “We love you all this much!” the new Mr. Dallas wrote on his Instagram page, along with a photo with his arms outstretched. “Thanks for all the love and good vibes.”

Since posting their wedding announcement online, Hamilton and his actor husband have been inundated with congratulatory messages. In an Instagram video, Hamilton filmed Dallas reading some of their favorite kudos. “My husband and I were together for 32 years before we were able to marry. That wait was worth it,” wrote one well-wisher. Added another: “Matthew, congratulations to you and Blue. Welcome to the club! Best of luck to you both.”

Their wedding announcement comes one week after the Supreme Court announced that same-sex marriage is legal nationwide.

Dallas, best known for his role on ABC Family’s Kyle XY, and opposite Hilary Duff in 2010’s Beauty and the Briefcase, announced his engagement (and acknowledged his sexuality for the first time publicly) on Instagram in 2013.
