She’s getting ready, y’all! Miley Cyrus will be wearing more than just nipple pasties (maybe?!) for her Saturday Night Live hosting duties on Saturday, Oct. 3. The “Wrecking Ball” singer will also be changing up her hair color.

Cyrus, 22, was photographed wearing a long brown wig while filming a sketch for the NBC variety show in NYC on Friday. She was joined by SNL cast members Kenan Thompson, Taran Killam, and Sasheer Zamata.

The star’s change-up mirrors the squeaky-clean image she portrayed during her Disney days. Cyrus often rocked brown locks while starring in Hannah Montana from 2006 to 2011. (Her character’s pop star alter-ego would disguise herself in a blonde wig when she performed.)

Of course, Cyrus famously cut off her long locks in August 2012 (Jennifer Aniston’s stylist Chris McMillan did the honors). She went from a lob to an edgy pixie cut, and hasn’t looked back since.
