Too much pressure! Nick Jonas gave girlfriend Olivia Culpo quite a scare at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant on Sunday, Jan. 25. Midway through his performance of "Jealous" during the evening gown portion of the competition, he left the stage to serenade Culpo, 22, in her seat, apparently making her think for a second that he planned to pop the question on live television. 

"I went down and sang to her, and I [got] on a knee and approached her," the "Teacher" crooner, 22, told The Sun of his main squeeze, the winner of the 2012 Miss Universe title. "Her face was in full panic. She thought I was going to propose on national TV in front of one billion people."

He didn't, of course, but no one could blame her for being a little excitable during his performance. After all, as the former Jonas Brothers singer revealed to Wendy Williams last November, Culpo inspired the song "Jealous" and also appears in its music video.

"We're enjoying the ride together, and it's been a pretty insane year and a half," Jonas told Williams of his stunning model girlfriend. "Lots of changes in both of our lives, and she's been a teammate through all of it."

So, might she be a teammate for life one day? Asked about the idea of marriage last October, the singer told Access Hollywood, "At some point, it would be ideal [to settle down], but we're still quite young and we're going on a journey."
