Hello baby boy! Sara Gilbert and her wife Linda Perry welcomed their first child together, a beautiful baby boy, this past Saturday, Feb. 28. A rep for The Talk confirmed the news to Us Weekly on Monday, announcing that the pair have named their newborn son Rhodes Emilio Gilbert Perry.

The Talk co-host, 40, first shared the news with her fellow CBS hosts on Monday’s episode, presenting the exclusive first photo of her baby boy In her absence. “Our very own Sara and her wife Linda Perry are the proud parents of a new baby boy,” Julie Chen announced to the audience.

Sharon Osbourne held up the first photo of the little tot, sleeping and holding his tiny hands up to his face.

“Both mother and child are doing well,” the rep told Us on Monday. “The ladies send their congratulations.”

The former Roseanne star surprised viewers when she announced that she and Perry were expecting on The Talk last September. At the time, Gilbert and the other hosts were facing their fears in special segments. Hers was having a cinder block dropped on her stomach and laying on top of a bed of nails.

“Before we go I just want to say I’m actually not going to do the dare,” Gilbert told viewers. “I was scared to do it and I really believe in facing your fears, but I actually can’t do the dare because I’m pregnant!”

While the star has remained low-key about her pregnancy, she most recently celebrated her baby shower in early February with the help of her co-hosts.

Gilbert and mega-songwriter-producer Perry — the 4 Non Blondes alum has created smashes for Pink, Christina Aguilera, and Gwen Stefani — married last March. This is the first child for Perry, 49, and the third for Gilbert, who shares her son Levi, 10, and daughter Sawyer, 7, with her ex Alison Adler.
