Robin Williams‘ children Zak, Cody, and Zelda joined their dad’s best buddy Billy Crystal to pay a touching and emotional tribute to the late comedian before Game 5 of the World Series began on Sunday, Oct. 26.

Images of Williams’ best-loved films were mixed with videos of his various visits to San Francisco Giants games as part of a touching video montage which shone down on his favorite ballpark from the main center-field scoreboard.

His kids, all wearing tribute Williams jerseys, then took to the pitch in front of the crowd, to remember their dad. It was the comedian’s eldest son Zak’s, 31, job to throw the ceremonial first pitch, right into the hands of comedian Crystal, while siblings Zelda, 25, and Cody, 22, watched on.

Zelda, who recently paid her own personal tribute to her dad by getting a tattoo of a hummingbird etched onto her right hand in his memory, was visibly moved by the occasion, pausing a few times to wipe tears from her eyes. The trio embraced their dad’s friend Crystal before retiring to the stands to watch the game.

“We are honored to be here in support of the tribute to our father, someone who loved his hometown and especially the Giants,” Williams’ children said in a statement through the Giants. “For all of us, it is a tremendous delight and a little surreal to throw out the ceremonial first pitch of a World Series game for our team to our dad’s best friend. We could not think of a better way to celebrate his memory. Let’s go Giants!”

Oscar winner Williams, who lived in nearby Marin County, passed away on Aug. 11, taking his own life following a battle with depression. He was 63.
